I was born and raised in Keighley and have lived in the area all my life. This part of Yorkshire holds a special place in my heart - not just because it’s where I grew up, but because of the strong sense of community, character, and history that surrounds it. I particularly love the nostalgia that fills places like the iconic village of Haworth, home of the Brontë family, and the Keighley & Worth Valley Steam Railway. These local landmarks are not only a source of pride, but they also reflect the charm and uniqueness that make this area such a wonderful place to live and work.
I began my career in estate agency back in 2005, and over the years, I’ve built a wealth of experience in both sales and lettings across Keighley and the surrounding villages of the Aire & Worth Valleys. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients—whether they’re buying their very first home, expanding their property portfolio, or finding the right tenants for their investment. My approach has always been grounded in honesty, transparency, and genuinely putting people first. That ethos has guided me throughout my career and continues to shape the way I run Davies Properties today.
As the Director of the company, I’m proud to lead a dedicated, knowledgeable team who share the same commitment to exceptional service and local expertise. We’re not just here to facilitate transactions - we’re here to build lasting relationships with our clients and provide guidance at every stage of the property journey. I always say, “When you love your work as much as I do, you don’t call it ‘work’ - it’s a passion.” Helping people navigate the process, whether buying, selling, or letting, is something I find incredibly fulfilling, and I feel fortunate to be doing it in an area I know and love so well.
Outside of the office, I’m very much a family man. I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, and we regularly travel to Malta to visit family - it’s a lovely escape (and certainly a bit warmer than Yorkshire!).
To relax and keep a clear head, I like to start my mornings at the gym - it sets a positive tone for the day and helps me stay focused. In my spare time, I’m also a keen gardener, and I enjoy nothing more than being outdoors with my family, exploring the stunning countryside around Oakworth and Haworth. It’s these moments that remind me why I’m so passionate about helping others find a home in such a special part of the world.
